It’s Gail. Just a couple of comments on your works. I send them with respect and not as a critique. You succeed at difficult things here that include integrating your experiences to engage your viewer’s attention. You do this without sentiment or coaxing. Your background and interest in biology is also visually present. I would love to see more of it as a substrate in your work. The sculpture Desiccation is outstanding. It would be great to see it expanded, similar pieces installed in other sites etc. … Creating a series of works on the same or a similar theme would be a great contribution. I love your books and how they equalize image and text.

Hi Gail! Thanks for taking a look. It’s definitely the dream to do more large sculptures in a similar vein… I have my eye on a white root ball next 🙂
